Flood Detector
A flood detector is a wireless, indoor sensor which gives an early warning of potential flooding in the home. This sensor is usually mounted on the skirting board close to a sink or bath and when it detects water on the floor it can either alert a carer or a 24-hour response sensor. These sensors can be obtained as part of a Sheffield Telecare package or privately purchased.
