Grabrails
Grab Rails
Bathroom grabrails can be installed to provide additional support when stepping in and out of the bath or shower. They can assist in maintaining balance whilst stepping and standing and help reduce fatigue. It should be noted however that the safest way to shower or bathe is in a seated position using some of the equipment you can see in the image above.
Grabrails come in various lengths and styles.
Things to Consider
Consider textured or ribbed rails to aid grip
Ensure the rails are designed for bathrooms
Be cautious installing suction grabrails due to the risk of the rail detaching
Ensure rails are securely fitted and checked regularly
