Local Offer (0-25 Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Information and Advice.

The Local Offer is part of the Sheffield Directory.  The Sheffield Directory contains information for children, young people and families and for adults. You can look at the website through smart phones and tablets.

The Local Offer has lots of information and services. This supports children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities aged 0-25.  It includes:

  • services and advice provided by the Local Authority.
  • services and advice provided by the health service.
  • services provided by the voluntary and private sectors.

Extra information is available for young adults. The Sheffield Local Offer offers advice to help young people make choices.  Advice about things that are important to them, such as:

  • where to live
  • transport
  • social activities
  • work and training
  • moving into adulthood

Local Authorities from across Yorkshire and Humber have made a video to tell you what the Local Offer is.  This video has British Sign Language included.  Open the video in You Tube to see the subtitles.
