Warm Homes Sheffield

They can help you to get support through a range of different schemes, including:

  • LEAP: Energy Advice Home Visits. LEAP offers free home visits and advice to local residents to assist with a range of topics. They can provide free, small-scale energy efficiency improvements to your home (including draught exclusion and lightbulbs), in addition to supporting you through challenges with bills and debt.

  • Boiler Upgrade Scheme. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a national grant to full and part-fund new, energy efficient heating systems such as heat pumps to replace outdated fossil fuel boilers.

  • Warm Homes: Local Grant. The Warm Homes: Local Grant is a national scheme delivered by Sheffield City Council in partnership with E.ON to provide energy efficiency improvements to Sheffield residents in need.

  • Social Housing Fund. This is a national scheme delivered by Sheffield City Council aimed at improving the energy efficiency of council homes. This scheme is not open for applications; residents who are receiving upgrades will be contacted regarding upcoming works.
