SEND the Basics Training

This training is for anyone who works with children and young people, as well as parents, carers, and anyone supporting someone with SEND.

It has been developed by:

  • the local authority
  • citywide SENCOs
  • NHS South Yorkshire ICB
  • Sheffield Parent Carer Forum.

Best practice guide for communicating with young people and their families about special educational needs and disabilities.

Sheffield City Council, SENDIAS, Sheffield Parent Carer Forum and citywide SENCOs have worked together to produce a best practice guide for communicating with young people and their families about special educational needs and disabilities.
